Solomon's Knife-By: Victor Koman

Posted : 17 years, 11 months ago on 18 April 2006 12:59 (A review of Solomon's Knife)

An aborted fetus (still alive) is transplanted into the womb of an infertile woman and brought to term. The woman who aborted this baby finds out seven months later that another woman has given birth to the baby she aborted. She then decides she wants the baby and a custody battle begins. I didn't want to put this book down. This is one of the most interesting novels I've ever read. People on both sides of the abortion debate will find this mixture of medical thriller and courtroom drama fascinating.

Short Of A Miracle-By: Crystal Pitrois

Posted : 17 years, 12 months ago on 7 April 2006 01:08 (A review of Short of a Miracle: Tina Torry's Story of Hope in the Midst of Tragedy)

Another powerful true story that shows the true meaning of the word "choice" in the abortion debate. It's the story of a teenager who got pregnant and was told by everyone to have an abortion. She did have an abortion, but her daughter Heidi survived that abortion and was born normal and healthy, and now is grown with children of her own. This book also talks a lot about how emotionally harmful abortion is to women.

Moses The Lawgiver

Posted : 18 years ago on 26 March 2006 11:52 (A review of Moses)

This is a pretty good movie, but in my opinion it doesn't compare to "The Ten Commandments". I loved "The Ten Commandments" so much more.

The New Thought Police-By: Tammy Bruce

Posted : 18 years ago on 23 March 2006 06:38 (A review of The New Thought Police: Inside the Left's Assault on Free Speech and Free Minds)

This book was written by a lesbian feminist who is not afraid to criticize the left. She chronicles the left's threats to silence radio and television hosts and also book and newspaper burnings, and expulsions of students for utterances offensive to select groups. She has experienced first hand the campaigns from the left against our fundamental freedom of expression.

Unfounded Loyalty-By: Wayne Perryman

Posted : 18 years ago on 23 March 2006 06:17 (A review of Unfounded Loyalty: An In-Depth Look into the Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats)

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who believes the propaganda that the democrats have done more for black people than republicans. This book tells the true history of the democratic party.

Mahalia Jackson-Give God The Glory

Posted : 18 years ago on 18 March 2006 08:29 (A review of Mahalia Jackson: Give God the Glory)

These Mahalia Jackson performances were filmed shortly before her death. She was not in the best of health, but her voice was just as powerful and moving as ever. She gave every performance her all. You also get to hear her talk a little about herself. A very interesting dvd that I would recommend to all Mahalia fans and all gospel music fans.
